Bows For Recreation And Hunting

I’m quite new to the whole archery scene. I bought a beginners recurve bow and now I want improve my archery skills. I would also like to add sights, shock absorbers and so on.

Anyone willing to explain what they do exactly, and how they are connected to a recurve bow. I have been doing a little reading up but it still leaves me a little confused. I want to know about any accessory and add on like sights, stablizers, shock absorbers, arrow rest that could improve my archery.
